Once you have all the ingredients diced, chopped and grated it goes quite quickly. Our tip: First chop the ingredients for all healthy chocolates, grate, chop and prepare in individual bowls.

For 10 pieces of Energy Balls you need about 150 grams of dried fruit and 70 grams of nuts.

Very important: these are natural ingredients, so the amount may vary. Sometimes dates contain a little more water than the next time. Therefore, you have to rely a little on your feeling and sometimes take more and the other time less.

Equipment you need for the chocolates

Before you start, get the equipment ready. What I recommend you in any case is a powerful food processor*. Not only do you chop dates, cranberries and the like, you also ensure that they combine with the dry ingredients.

If you don't have a food processor or similar, a very sharp knife will do. With it you cut the dried fruit into tiny pieces. However, I have found that the ingredients do not stick together so well.

My recommendation is therefore quite clearly a powerful food processor* with a lot of power.

Energyballs with dates, goji berries and muesli

Cranberries are the perfect ingredient for the energy balls. They are quite sticky after cutting and ensure that everything stays in place and the balls keep a nice shape.

The amount is enough for 12 Powerballs

  • 2 dried and pitted dates
  • 50 g cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon chopped goji berries
  • 100 g oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons mixed Flaxseed*sunflower seeds, almonds, hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons almond paste

Here's how:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Chop dates, cranberries and goji berries into very small pieces and place in a bowl.

Flaxseed*, sunflower seeds, almonds and hazelnuts roughly chop with a sharp knife. Add the rolled oats.

Put all ingredients in a bowl and knead firmly. The mass for your energy balls should be sticky. If not: add more mush or a sip of water.

Wrap the whole mass in foil and refrigerate it for half an hour. After that, form small balls and you're done.

Raw Bites with coconut oil

If you love coconut, you will adore this recipe. Important: You should always store the coconut balls in a cool place. Coconut oil* melts at room temperature and the balls simply melt before your eyes.

The amount is enough for about 10 pieces.

Here's how:

First make coconut puree and Coconut oil* from the refrigerator. They must be at room temperature.

Heat the oven to 150° top-bottom heat. Roast the Cashews* Bake for 10 minutes on baking paper until they get a light color. Then put them to one side and leave them to cool.

Chop the Cashews* chop with a sharp knife or use a food processor. The finer, the better.

Heat the Coconut oil* until it is liquid. Now mix all the ingredients together and chill. Your "dough" can be a little more liquid. The coconut oil will solidify again when chilled.

After you form balls, roll them in coconut flakes.

Tip: Do I need to use the Cashews* really roast? No, of course you don't have to. But it does give the balls a better aroma.

It tastes best with homemade peanut butter. I usually make a large amount of it, because I like to add the peanut butter to cereal or banana milk. Try this - really tasty! :)

This recipe is enough for about 10 pieces

  • 50 g fine oat flakes
  • 50 g peanuts
  • 200 g pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons peanuts finely chopped for rolling

Here's how:

Mix the oats and peanuts together in a powerful food processor. It should form a kind of flour.

Take the mixture out of the food processor and put it in a bowl.

Chop the dates into small pieces.

Heat the coconut oil until it is liquid. Mix it with peanut butter.

And off with all the ingredients in a bowl. Knead the mixture with your hands. Knead the mass firmly and then put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Take the energy ball dough out of the refrigerator and form powerballs out of it. Finally, roll the balls in finely chopped peanuts.

Energyballs with figs and nuts

When you need an energy boost and are very tired, figs come in handy. They contain a lot of fructose, which quickly provides you with energy and makes you awake on tired days.

This recipe makes enough for about 10 energy balls

  • 25 g walnuts
  • 25 g fine oat flakes
  • 50 g mixed: Flaxseed*chopped almonds and chopped sunflower seeds
  • 50 g dried figs
  • 25 g dried dates
  • 25 g dried apricots

Here's how:

Add the walnuts, oatmeal (except for 2 tsp.), Flaxseed*, almonds and sunflower seeds in a powerful blender. Blend until you have a smooth mixture.

Follow with figs, dates and apricots. Do you have an even gooey mixture? Perfect!

Now add the rest of the rolled oats. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more oats.

Form small balls with your hands.

Raw Bites with Quinoa

Ingredients for Energy Balls with coconut and quinoa

This recipe makes about 15 pieces

  • 40 g uncooked quinoa
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon (approx. 10 g) Coconut flour*
  • 25 g ground almonds*
  • 1 tablespoon liquid coconut oil

Here's how:

Cook the quinoa with twice the amount of water. Attention: Do not add salt! Put it aside so that it can cool.

Chop the dates and cranberries.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Place your energy balls in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 5 minutes and place a few quinoa puffs in a bowl. Roll each individual ball in it.

Tip: If the topping does not hold, you can simply dip the balls very briefly in lukewarm water. Then roll them again in the puffs.

Maple syrup, peanut butter, cocoa and chocolate drops follow.

Mix all ingredients and add more coconut or peanut butter if needed.

  • 45 g coconut flakes
  • 60 g Soy flakes*
  • 30 g ground flax seeds
  • 30 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 150 g almond paste

The recipe is enough for about 10 energy balls.

  • 50 g dates
  • 50 g Chia seeds*
  • 30 g poppy seed
  • 1 tsp cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons applesauce

Here's how:

Put the dates in warm water for 10 minutes. They absorb the liquid and become a little softer.

Add the soft dates with Chia seeds*, poppy seeds and cocoa in a food processor. Blend on the highest setting and add the apple sauce.

Taste the balls and see if the consistency fits. If not: More Chia* and add the poppy seeds.

If you like, you can finish the balls in poppy seeds or Chia* roll.

Banana fans watch out! These balls are optimal to process an overripe banana. However, you have to eat the energy balls right away. They do not have a long shelf life!

  • 10 g dried figs
  • 25 g dried banana
  • 80 g very ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 70 g ground hazelnuts*
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon*
  • For rolling: finely chopped banana chips

Here's how:

Cut the figs and banana chips into small pieces. Put them in lukewarm water for 10 minutes. Then pour off the water.

In the meantime, add the banana, orange zest, hazelnuts and Cinnamon* into the food processor. Blend on the highest setting.

Now add the figs and banana chips.

Roll the energy balls in dried banana chips. Alternatively, you can also use nuts.

Energy balls with chia seeds

Chocolate, Chia*, almond butter, hemp seeds - these raw bites contain lots of energy sources. And of course, dried fruit is also a must.

You get 12 balls in this energy balls recipe.

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 100 g coconut puree
  • 8 tablespoons grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon almond paste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios
  • Cocoa powder* for rolling

Here's how:

Mix all ingredients except the Cocoa powder* Mix well. The mixture should be fairly soft.

Chill for 30 minutes and then form balls. If the mixture is still too soft, add a little more coconut.

Roll them in Cocoa powder*.
