What goes into a Bulletproof Coffee recipe?

The recipe for the coffee is quite simple. You take high-quality coffee, a teaspoon of butter and a teaspoon of MCT oil. Mix well with a blender or a milk frother and your coffee is ready. Bulletproof Coffee Recipe. Quite simple, isn't it?

For the recipe I use MCT oil from Primal State*. For an initial test, you can also Coconut oil*, but you will quickly notice the difference. The MCT oil from Primal State* consists of 70 % caprylic acid and 30 % capric acid.

What this means? Well, this composition ensures that the oil can not be stored by the body. And this is good, because so it is converted directly into energy.

With conventional Coconut oil* is somewhat different. The body cannot convert it directly into energy and stores some of it. It is worth investing in a Bulletproof Coffee Oil because it is very long-lasting.

Here's how to celebrate your Bulletproof Coffee recipe

Black coffee is not everyone's cup of tea. Of course, you can help it along a bit. Not a lot of milk or sugar, but with spices:

As with any food or beverage, coffee is made with Coconut oil* and butter, the quality of the ingredients is crucial. Because a coffee is only really bitter if the quality is not right. But more on that later.

How does Bulletproof Coffee work?

The Effect the butter coffee owes mainly to the Fat. Thanks to the ingredients, a simple Bulletproof Coffee recipe is supposed to keep you full for several hours. Moreover, if you drink it for breakfast, it should provide the body with high-quality energy until noon.

Concentration improves and the oil boosts fat burning.

There are plenty of celebrities who swear by this drink. It is even treated as an insider tip for all those who want to lose weight. But how is that even possible with the large amount of fat? Fat makes you fat, right?

Those who know about fat burning in the body will realize that there is actually some truth to this rumor.

Lose weight with Bulletproof Coffee

With so much fat in the drink, it's easy to become skeptical. Whether you can lose weight with it, of course, also depends on your lifestyle. Coffee should make you feel full and boost fat metabolism.

This works best if you drink it first thing in the morning. Instead of breakfast. However, it is important not to eat carbohydrates in the period.

Use keto coffee sparingly. Because although coffee with butter helps with concentration, it's not healthy in the long run. Long-term effects and consequences have not yet been researched. That is, prepare the Bulletproof Coffee Recipe not closed every day.

What does Bulletproof Coffee taste like?

First of all, it is very important that the Keto coffee properly prepared is. Good and long mixing of the ingredients is very important. This makes the drink pleasantly creamy, because the coffee combines with the butter and oil.

The Bulletproof Coffee flavor is reminiscent of creamy latte. You notice a little coconut in the finish and in the smell. But otherwise purely taste actually nothing earth-shattering. However, you should like coconut. The fat makes the lips soft and spreads with each sip over the entire mouth.

However, I like it a little sweet or less strong. Since I do without sugar, so ends up a lot of milk in my coffee. I absolutely can't stand it here. But what does not one do everything for health? :)

The right coffee for Bulletproof Coffee

By far the most important ingredient is coffee. As you probably know, there are huge differences in the quality of coffee. It can taste like just about anything from nutty to bitter. Under no circumstances should you underestimate the quality of coffee.

Coffee not only tastes delicious, it is good for our body. The caffeine in coffee provides us with quick energy. We feel fit and alert. Tiredness disappears immediately.

Bulletproof Coffee

Drinking it dilates blood vessels and improves circulation. Coffee boosts the entire metabolism and is even said to increase calorie consumption. With a cup of coffee our concentration becomes better.

Tip: For a really good Bulletproof Coffee Recipe we recommend that you order a low-acid coffee with a light roast.

By the way, you get the most aroma if you grind the beans yourself just before drinking. This works just as well with an electric coffee grinder as with a manual grinder.

The butter in Bulletproof Coffee

Why should I put butter in my coffee? For many, it still doesn't make sense. Butter is said to have many positive properties. It is said to make you feel full and promote fat burning. Butter is a healthy source of fat for the body. The fat provides a constant and consistent energy level and is said to prevent cravings.

Coffee with butter provides the body with 3x more antioxidants than coffee with milk.

And why exactly pasture butter? Butter from grass-fed cows has a higher fat content and more nutritional values. In addition, pasture butter contains more omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for our brain metabolism.

The butter cannot be replaced by milk in the Bulletproof Coffee recipe. The advantage of butter is that it contains less casein. Adding butter to coffee instead of milk increases the absorption of antioxidants.

Coconut oil in coffee

What must not be missing next to butter and coffee, of course, is Coconut oil*. It has many positive properties. Among other things, it is said to help the body switch to fat metabolism.

Conventional coconut oil from the supermarket also belongs to the MCT oils. However, the Bulletproof Coffee oil is still a little post-processed and processed, so that our body can absorb it faster.

As a total Bulletproof beginner, you can try coconut oil first. The MCT oil from Primal State* is not very expensive and is even on offer at the moment. Just buy yourself a bottle. If you're not a fan of coffee, you can also use the oil for dips, sauces and smoothies.

Bulletproof Coffee Effect

MCT stands for medium-chain triglycerides, or medium-chain saturated fatty acids. These fats are water-soluble. They are therefore absorbed directly into the blood. MCT oils put the body into ketosis. A state in which the body runs on fat and thus burns more of it.

Instead of coconut oil, you can also mix pure MCT oil into Bulletproof Coffee. It is said to be up to 18x stronger than regular coconut oil. You get a direct energy boost with it. In our Bulletproof Coffee recipe, coconut oil ends up because it's less processed and brings a delicious taste with it.

Whatever oil you choose in your coffee, it's the most important component in the energy drink.

Tip: You can order MCT oil for your Bulletproof Coffee from Amazon.

How the hype around the Bulletproof Coffee recipe came about

According to legend, the inventor of Bulletproof Coffee, Dave Asprey, had the idea for coffee with butter 10 years ago. At -20° and at an altitude of 5500 meters, he staggered into a small hut in Tibet.

He was exhausted and a Tibetan woman handed him a classic Tibetan drink: a cup of tea with yak butter. The mountain people draw their energy on strong tea with a good shot of butter.

After drinking it, he suddenly had plenty of power and the idea for his own Bulletproof Coffee recipe.

Asprey worked on the recipe for a long time, trying all possible combinations. At first without success. Then he exchanged the tea for coffee and was thrilled. The Bulletproof Coffee recipe is said to have the highest effect when using high-quality filter coffee with butter and MCT oil. So the yak butter became pasture butter and later coconut oil was added.

According to Asprey, coffee is supposed to give you an incredible energy boost in the morning. And the feeling of satiety lasts until noon with his Bulletproof Coffee recipe.

Our conclusion

Keto coffee is made quickly. The taste takes a little getting used to. However, not bad. However, you should not prepare the Bulletproof Coffee recipe every day. If you think you can lose weight only by drinking coffee, we have to disappoint you. For this, a change in diet and exercise is necessary. However, coffee can have a supporting effect.
