A rose quartz roller is a beauty gadget on which a rose quartz is cut so that it has a hole in the center. It is placed on the roller and can then glide over the face with light hand movements.
This looks something like a large paint roller.

First of all, rollers made of rose quartz have all the advantages that a classic face roller also has.

However, the rose quartz roller can stimulate the lymphatic flow and promote blood circulation. As a result, the skin looks plumper and wrinkles are reduced.

How do I use a face roller correctly?
In order for the Rose Quartz Roller to work its magic, let it glide gently over the skin. Never build up pressure. Always move the roller from the inside - the center of the face - to the outside. Roll 3-5 times on each spot.
You shouldn't roll back and forth, but keep starting over and rolling outward with light pressure.
Before each application it is important to clean the face. After cleansing, it is a good idea to apply a serum or face cream so that the roller massage has an even better effect.
Store the roller in the refrigerator, then the decongestant effect will be intensified.
- ForeheadPlace the roller in the center of your forehead and roll to the hairline. Continue until you reach one of the two temples and repeat several times per side.
- EyesThe smaller roller is for the eyes. Close your eyes and gently roll from the inner eyelid to the temple with short strokes. Then work the lower eye area by rolling over it 3-5 times with gentle pressure from the inside out. This will lock in moisture and reduce puffiness.
- CheeksFirst, roll the rose quartz roller along the wings of the nose to one cheekbone and then down to one side of the temple. Repeat on both sides. Next, work with a little pressure across your chin from the center to the ear/temple.
If you like, you can also apply a cloth mask and roll over the fleece with the roller.

Be aware that the effect of the Rose Quartz Roller can also be negative. Massaging your face for too long can cause irritation. Therefore, you should not use it for more than 10 minutes at a time. Optimal is 1x a day, ideally in the evening before going to bed.
If you have sensitive skin, the rose quartz facial roller can cause the skin to flake off at first. This is normal and in most cases even desirable, because your skin regenerates faster. It then appears fresher and more youthful.
How to clean rose quartz roller?
Make sure you clean the rose quartz roller properly after use. You don't want bacteria to settle on it! This can lead to skin impurities and pimples the next time you use it.
After use, clean the roller with a disinfectant or with soap and running water. Be sure to wash off the soap and disinfectant well.

So much for the theory. But as you know, theory and practice are often far apart. Does the rose quartz roller work for me or does it do nothing at all? Is a beauty roller worth it or is it a waste of money?
I became aware of the face roller, because I have seen him again and again on Instagram. Some bloggers praise the rollers and that makes me of course curious.
Honestly, the application seemed to me at first much too simple, as that one can notice an effect. But anyway: I still bought myself a beauty roller. Curiosity won out. The purchase cost of about 30 euros is also more than reasonable.

When I unpack it, it feels very high quality and sturdy. And surprisingly heavy. I always thought rose quartz was much lighter. It's probably heavy because the handle is also rose quartz.
I see a roller at both ends. One is larger, the other smaller. The small roller is optimal for the eyes, with the large one you can work on larger facial areas such as forehead or cheeks.
I put the roller in the fridge for an hour. You should do that, by the way - it feels wonderful. Make sure it doesn't come in contact with food, though. If your fridge is as full as mine, it's best to put it in a plastic bag.
While it's cooling, I cleanse my skin and apply a light face serum.
I put on the face roller and roll from the eyebrows to the hairline. This feels very pleasant - not least because it cools finely. The cold stone glides in rolling motions to the hairline. It feels so relaxing. Now I have a taste for it and let the two rollers wander all over my face.
Always nicely from the inside out and not back, but start again.
I actually feel that the serum is now better absorbed into the skin. This is, by the way, because the blood circulation is stimulated, so the skin can better absorb serums and creams.
My skin somehow feels softer and has a slightly rosy complexion.
I am thrilled. I like the simplicity of the gadget and that it doesn't cause any blatant redness or even pain, which is something you can't say about many other tools.
Overall, I can say that I certainly need to test the scooter for a longer time. And of course much more regularly. As soon as I have done that, I'll deliver a few more lines.
