The basic recipe for the ice cream alternative
The base is yogurt, a natural sweetener and vanilla flavor. For the yogurt, we choose Greek yogurt. It's creamier, tastes a little sweeter and is also full of protein. If you like to go low-fat, go for natural yogurt.
It doesn't matter whether you choose 3.5% or 1.5% fat level. Just remember that the frozen yogurt will taste a little more sour. If you are lactose-free or vegan, simply choose soy yogurt.
We sweeten naturally. This means first and foremost the renunciation of sugar. Unfortunately, honey crystallizes quickly at low temperatures. For this reason we resort to Agave syrup*. But maple syrup is also possible (especially with natural yogurt).

The frozen yogurt recipe is rounded off with vanilla. We choose here a fresh vanilla bean that gives the yogurt a great touch.
If you like, you can also add a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice. The end result tastes even more aromatic and slightly more acidic.
