Why curd spread is worth making yourself
Well, it's simple: have you ever looked at the back of the spreads in the supermarket? Dyes, preservatives, flavorings and sugar. I'm not in the mood for that.
Fresh ingredients taste much better. The advantage in making your own curd spread is also that you control how much of it you prepare.
You can make two or three different spreads from one package. So you have a lot of variety.
We banish sugar completely from our spreads. Just like flavors. By the way, most purchased herbal spreads are made with flavors and have hardly seen real herbs.
You think that a curd spread is terribly elaborate? I'll convince you otherwise!
What speaks for curd spreads
In case you're wondering what Topfen is... it's the Austrian word for quark :). Quark spreads are great for those who want to work out or lose weight. Because in quark is a large amount of protein. This makes the muscles grow, has a satiating effect and reduces cravings.
Here's a quick look at the sewing values:
- 100 grams of low-fat curd cheese contains 67 calories and 12 grams of protein.
- 100 grams of classic cottage cheese with 20 % fat contains 101 calories and 11 grams of protein.
Quark spread tastes very refreshing and is not in the stomach. The perfect snack for morning, noon and evening!
The dips also help with weight loss. The protein keeps you full for a long time. It's best to use whole-grain bread, which is more filling.
On the bread fits in addition to the spread on a whole lot of vegetables, sprouts or fresh herbs. Combine according to your mood. Some inspiration you can find directly in the my favorite recipes.
