Fancy a filling and delicious breakfast? Try this spelt porridge with kiwi, raspberry and chocolate!

When you have a long and tiring day ahead of you, you have to eat a good breakfast. Nothing works for me without breakfast. A spelt porridge with fruit, nuts and chocolate comes in handy.

So you fill your energy stores, are full for a long time and take a lot of vitamins. And a little something sweet for motivation is also in the breakfast :)

Because the spelt flake porridge is vegan, you can take it to work or college without refrigerating it on the way there. It also makes a very good lunch - if you're not a breakfast person or don't have the time.

In any case, there is a lot to be said for this recipe.

Spelt flakes porridge

Why you should prepare a spelt flakes porridge

My motto is: Porridge always goes. You can make it very varied by adding fruits, chocolate and co. Porridge can also be prepared wonderfully the night before and reheated the next day.

You can prepare it in larger quantities and have breakfast again the next day. But why spelt flakes porridge of all things?

Conventional oat porridge is one of the most popular breakfast foods. But you should swap the oatmeal for spelt flakes every now and then.

Spelt flakes contain a lot of long-chain and satiating carbohydrates as well as a whole load of protein.

With every bite you take vitamin B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and vitamin E. Also iron, potassium, magnesium and zinc. In short, spelt flakes are true power grains that outperform oatmeal in some areas.

Mixed with fresh fruit, you'll ensure that you get even more vitamins into the porridge. Perfect for the cold season, when we can use a lot of vitamins and minerals.

If you have prepared too much, store it in the refrigerator. The porridge also tastes delicious cold. Later, simply add yogurt or a little milk to make it creamier again.

The spelt flakes soak up the liquid quite blatantly. If you like, you can puree the porridge to make it finer and creamier.
