July is here! And summer is now showing its best side. Warm temperatures and many hours in nature. We tell you how the summer month will be even better!

Actually, the whole year can be summer. Feasting on ice cream without end, having time off, lazing in the sun. Rarely are we so relaxed and so crispy tanned as in July. Good mood is somehow already pre-programmed.

To keep it that way, we'll give you the best tips. Because the summer month is one thing above all: pretty hot. So you also have to take good care of your body to protect yourself from unpleasant side effects of the warm temperatures.

How to start July right

With the hot temperatures, we sweat quickly. This is inconvenient from time to time. Sweating is nevertheless necessary. Because this is how our body tries to cool us down. And to regulate our own body temperature.

The more we sweat, the more water we lose. Therefore, it is immensely important to make sure we stay hydrated. LINK DEHYDRATED

So be sure to drink enough. Water is too boring? Then mix your drink with delicious seasonal fruits. Or reach for red currant juice. It helps to replenish missing minerals.

Heavy foods should also be taboo. They put additional strain on your body. If you are on the road during the day, you can pack small snacks. We recommend fresh fruit, such as grapefruits or berries.

Fruit and vegetables in July

The hot temperatures now ensure that fruits and vegetables ripen in large quantities. Go for regional foods. They have shorter transport routes behind them and therefore contain more vitamins.

Light exercise in warm summer months

Exercise, sports and activities are always good. But in July you should be careful not to overdo it. The higher the temperatures rise, the more stressful sports and other activities become for your body.

Otherwise, we recommend you take a siesta. If the heat throws you off a bit, lie down over the hot midday hours. Close your eyes and relax a little.

Of course, we also think it's good to keep fit. Nevertheless, we recommend that you schedule strenuous training for the early morning hours. Or for the late risers: to the later evening hours.

You should also drink enough during training and always make sure that you don't overdo it. If your body reacts with dizziness or you feel a little light-headed, please take a break.

If you are at the lake during the day, you should cool off regularly. And then can also spend time in the water doing sports. Standup paddling, wakeboarding or kite surfing. Do what you feel like ;)

Good mood tip in July

You just came back from vacation? And already miss the feeling? Then just plan your next one! The best time to travel to tropical spheres is when it gets cold and uncomfortable here.
