A pimple here, a few blackheads there - we're sick of it! In no time at all you can make a peel off mask yourself and fight blemished skin.

Nobody likes to be bothered with impurities. Blackheads are particularly annoying. The small black dots can become a real challenge.

But with a peel off mask, you can finally put an end to skin impurities.

I'm sure you've seen numerous videos of girls and women trying to pull the black peel off masks off their skin to remove blackheads.

However, the products from the drugstore are not really skin-friendly. Too many artificial additives are in the masks. I have no desire to do so, because my skin is already sensitive enough. It reacts to most products from the drugstore with additional impurities.

What is a Peel Off Mask?

As the name suggests, this is a peel-off mask.

Peel Off Mask is a gel-like mass that dries slowly on the skin.

When the mask is pulled off, the included Activated carbon* ensures that blackheads, flakes, dirt and sebum deposits stick to it.

The face mask is especially suitable for impure and combination skin. It is also called black head mask.

Unlike other face masks, you don't have to wash off the Peel Off Mask after it has been applied. Simply peel it off.

However, conventional products contain many unhealthy additives such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, carbon black or CI 77266.

That's why we decided to make our Black Head mask ourselves.

You can combine different ingredients and create your own personal blend, perfectly suited to your skin needs. This gives you a sense of creativity and self-care.

What are the advantages of a DIY peel off mask over a store bought one?

With store-bought masks, we often don't even know what's in them, and there can be any number of chemicals and questionable additives.

But with a homemade mask, we can decide exactly what ingredients to use. We can choose natural and skin-friendly things that are good for our skin.

Most of the ingredients you probably have at home. To make peel off mask yourself home remedy use is therefore super cheap and you save a lot of money!

How to make a peel off mask yourself?

There are many different ways to prepare a peel-off mask. We have chosen the variant with Activated carbon* and flour.

And that's all you need. These are already your two main ingredients for the face mask against blackheads.

You can also make the mask with glue. However, we find the thought of it not very convincing. Therefore, we do without it and resort to wheat flour. The flour has a skin tightening and anti-inflammatory effect.

How to apply the mask correctly?

Super! The face mask is ready. Now you just need to know how to apply it properly.

  • First, cleanse your face thoroughly. A mild cleansing gel or an exfoliating scrub is best suited for this.
  • Tie your hair back.
  • Apply the Peel Off Mask as thinly as possible so that it dries evenly.
  • Spare the eye and mouth area, hairline and eyebrows.
  • Let the mask dry completely. About 15-20 minutes.
  • Carefully peel off the face mask from the sides of the face towards the nose.
  • If any remains, rinse them with lukewarm water.

You can use the mask once or twice a week.

If you tend to have dry cheeks, apply the Peel Off Mask only to the forehead, nose and chin.

After the application you should care for your skin especially intensively. This protects its natural regeneration processes. Apply a face cream appropriate for your skin type.

Why is activated charcoal effective against blackheads?

Activated carbon* is a real miracle cure for blackheads. It is made from lime wood, nutshells, coal or peat.

The black powder is absorbent like a sponge and exactly this property makes Activated carbon* attractive for beauty applications.

For impure and oily skin, activated carbon products are ideal. The carbon removes dirt, sebum and fat from the skin. This improves the appearance of your skin.

If you have very sensitive and dry skin, you should rather avoid activated charcoal masks.

The Peel Off mask also deprives the body of important substances such as vitamins and minerals. Therefore, you should not use the mask more often than once or twice a week.

After application, the pores are open and particularly vulnerable. Do not put on makeup after applying the mask and do not use an oily face care product. This will clog the pores again.

How often should a DIY Peel Off mask be used?

So, how often you use a peel off mask depends a bit on your skin type and needs. In general, it is recommended to use it about once a week.

This gives your skin enough time to recover and regenerate from the previous application.

But you also need to listen to your skin! If your skin is sensitive or dry, you may want to reduce the application to every two weeks.

You don't want it to get stressed or dry out. So always be attentive and observe how your skin reacts.

And remember that while a peel off mask is great, it's not the only care for your skin. You should always have a good cleansing routine and keep your skin moisturized.

The mask is the extra, so to speak, that pampers your skin and gives it a freshness boost.

Our conclusion

Making your own peel-off mask is not witchcraft. You only need three ingredients. And once you've used the mask, you'll love it!
Because blackheads and blemishes you are from now on rid of!

Good luck and have fun trying it out!
