Today's super delicious low carb wraps with veggie filling. The perfect lunch or dinner without carbohydrates.

In our office, every Wednesday is wrap day. It's an unwritten law. Completely without us having to talk ourselves out of it. :)

However, since I'm trying to eat less carbs at lunch right now, I've been looking enviously at everyone else's wraps for the past two weeks.

But enough of that. I just make myself low carb wraps :)

In fact, they taste really delicious and have much more flavor than the store-bought ones.

Make low carb wraps yourself

They are worlds better than the variation of the others who just get their dough patties out of the plastic bag.

Low carb wraps or not, homemade always tastes best.

All you need are 4 ingredients, with a focus on the Flaxseed* can do without. But I think they look pretty chic and they are also good for digestion.

Wrap recipe without carbohydrates

  • and many more low carb vegetables

Why the low carb wraps are also good for allergy sufferers

You know what's funny? After I made the no carb wraps for the first time, everyone wanted to taste. And the next time there were no more from the bag to find. Everyone switched to making them themselves :)

And not because they wanted to eat less carbohydrates like me. But because the low carb wraps were simply mega delicious. So it's also worth trying something new.

Wraps without carbohydrates

Low carb wraps require that you don't use wheat flour. This is good for those who suffer from gluten intolerance. So you can also serve these dough patties at parties.

Instead of normal curd I take lactose-free and already everyone is happy :)

How to get extra protein in your wraps

For the low carb wraps you use cottage cheese and eggs. Both are great sources of protein. This is important if you are working out and want to grow muscles.

And if you want to lose weight. Protein keeps you full for a long time. And because the wraps do not contain carbohydrates, you benefit twice.

With the filling you can give the whole thing even more protein. Sour cream, cottage cheese, tuna, turkey or beans make real protein bombs out of your wraps.

For which occasions the dough patties are particularly suitable

What I particularly appreciate about these dough patties is that you can prepare them. I make them ready and then put them in the fridge. Foil or lid up not forget, otherwise they dry out!

In the morning I pack them and take them to work. And if I forget them at home like the other day, I can still eat them the next day.

Low carb wraps

The low carb wraps are also great for parties or girls' nights out. Simply wrap them in a napkin and you have a quick finger food. Or you can let your guests put them on themselves and I have to say that from my experience this always ends up in a mess :)

Our conclusion

Low carb wraps are very easy to prepare. Once you have made the dough, you can fill it as you like. Also "not low carb" foods fit into the wraps.

Enjoy! :)
