The egg in the avocado is the perfect snack for those who are working out. Or anyone who loves avocado as much as we do. :)

The biggest advantage in the morning: While the avocado is in the oven, you can take care of the most important thing in the morning: Your coffee. In just 15 minutes you have the perfect snack to start the workday fit.

What you need for the egg in the avocado

  • One ripe avocado

When buying, make sure that the avocado is already a little soft. Because it simply tastes best that way. By the way, you can tell by the color of the skin. Ripe avocados are usually black. And if you squeeze them a little with your fingers. If the flesh yields a little, then put it in the shopping cart.
For the egg in the avocado, the fruit should not be too hard and not too soft - the golden mean is perfect!

  • A small egg

The avocado offers space, but it is not enough for an XL egg. So you have to use a small egg. The egg will certainly make an attempt to escape. This is even quite fast, because it is nice and slippery in the avocado.
What you can do about it? The hole a little deeper, or you consciously look out for a large avocado. :)

  • Salt, pepper and herbs

A few chili flakes also go great with the avocado in the egg. There are no limits to your imagination when it comes to herbs. Chives and parsley are very tasty.

  • One shape

It could be that the egg starts to run. So it's best to place the avocado in a baking dish. Then nothing can go wrong :)
