A quick glance at the date doesn't bode well. Father's Day is coming up soon. Actually, you've planned a lot, but then a lot more got in the way. Now it's time to find an ultra last minute gift for Father's Day. We'll help you with that!

Cheer up your dad. He deserves it. After all, he's always there to help and advise you. He doesn't need to know that you forgot this important day.

If you do it cleverly, he won't notice.

So instead of giving another perfume that he then does not use, here you will find gifts for Father's Day that really come from the heart and cost little.

For the connoisseur among fathers

Your father is an epicure? Very good, then you can build on that. If he likes wine, why not organize your own wine tasting event within your own four walls? You'll know whether he prefers red or white wine.

Prepare the table nicely, get 2-3 bottles of wine. Skewer a few grapes and cheese.

If you want, you can also have him guess what wine you're drinking. For this, you can create a quick list for him to fill in and choose his favorite.

If he likes to drink wine but is not that knowledgeable, you can at least have him guess blindfolded whether he is drinking red, white or rosé.

White bread is also often served with wine. The baker around the corner has the right bread for you.

And of course, what should not be missing: still or slightly sparkling water.

For gourmets on Father's Day

When was the last time you cooked for your father? Just him alone. That is, just the two of you with no outside distractions or interference. It must have been ages ago, right?

Usually you know what he likes to eat, too. And if you're not such a good cook, it doesn't matter. I'm sure he'll forgive you.

For most dads, you certainly can't go wrong with a roast or steak. Finish it off with a quick dessert in a jar and your dad will feel good all around.

If that's not enough for you, you can combine it with wine tasting.

For amateur cooks on Father's Day

Your dad loves to cook himself? Give him a gift certificate for a joint cooking session. You can start by shopping together at the market and then prepare the dish at home.

You can fill the voucher with three recipe suggestions. He can choose one and you can adapt it together. He will probably want to add one or the other.

If you clarify beforehand what all you have at home, it saves a lot of work and looks like you have planned the whole thing for a very long time. :)

Last minute Father's Day gift for sporty people

You want to be physically active and your dad loves to be out in the fresh air? Then why not go on a hike together? You could start the day by picking him up and telling him the night before what he needs to pack.

The rest remains a secret.

But make sure that it doesn't seem too strenuous and that the weather is suitable. Pack some snacks and something to drink. Maybe you know what your dad likes to eat.

Where did you used to go a lot when you were little? Is there such a place and is it reasonably close? Your dad will be especially happy about that!

For all those who like to reminisce

How about a quick photo collage? If you get a picture frame, you can wrap up a nice photo of the two of you.

It would be especially great if you recreate the same photo from back then. You could prepare everything and then surprise him with it.

If you don't want to do that, create a collage of 3-4 really great pictures. You can simply print these out yourself on photo paper and put them together. There are some free photo editing programs for this.

Have fun on Father's Day, if you're smart about it, your dad won't know it's a last minute gift 🙂 .
