Bring the rice to a boil with twice the amount of water. Turn down the temperature as soon as the water boils.
In the meantime, chop the vegetables.
Fry the shrimp briefly in a pan with oil.
The topping
For the dressing, squeeze the lime. Pour 1 tablespoon of lime juice over the sliced avocado.
Peel the garlic clove and chop it.
Mix the lime juice with the garlic, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and sesame paste.
Season the dressing with salt and pepper.
Assemble the bowl with avocado
Start with the rice. It forms the base and covers the bottom of the bowl.
Now follow step by step the other ingredients. You can bowl them as you like. It looks especially nice if you use 2-3 tablespoons of each ingredient per bowl and place them next to each other.
Finally, add the topping and sesame seeds to the bowl.
