Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise with a sharp knife and scrape out the pulp. Carefully stir the vanilla pulp into the butter cream. Stir in each egg separately.
Process the bananas with a fork or blender to a fine pulp. Stir the banana puree into the butter and egg mixture. Add the honey.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and the chia seeds and stir into the butter-banana mixture by the spoonful, alternating with the milk.
Line a loaf pan with baking paper or grease with a little butter and dust with flour and pour in the batter. Bake the banana bread with chia in a preheated oven for about 1 hour.
