What speaks for the radish dip
So first of all, of course, the taste. The slight spiciness of the radishes and chilies combined with curd is just awesome. The curd takes a bit of the sharpness but does not overwhelm the ingredients.
The spread is low in calories
I chose cottage cheese because it provides a lot of protein. I am in the process of building more muscle. Since I benefit from any source of protein.
With just 150 calories per 100 grams, quark is also quite low in calories. If you like, you can use cream cheese for the radish dip. But you're already looking at about 300 calories per 100 grams.
That's why you should eat a rainbow every day!
Radishes consist largely of water. So they bring it to only 19 calories per 100 grams.
And the other ingredients are also low in calories. So perfect for a light spread that tastes great with both bread and crackers.
Eat more vegetables
It should be three portions of vegetables per day. But let's be honest: Hardly anyone manages that. That's why recipes that contain vegetables are so well suited.
9 simple tricks to eat more veggies that you can implement right away!
So you just cleverly pack the vegetables into spreads and dips. And you automatically eat more of them. This way you can convince even the vegetable muffle, children and men :)
If you like, you can also stir in peppers and cucumber pieces. Then it becomes even more colorful and healthier.
The ingredients for the cress spread are healthy
Making your own is so healthy! You know exactly what ends up in your spread and what doesn't. In supermarket dips, you'll find flavor enhancers, colorings, preservatives and sugar. Who needs that?
Well, I don't. I just make the cress radish dip myself. Goes also quite quickly.
By the way, did you know that small radishes are hotter than large ones? Mustard oils are responsible for the pungency. They have an antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effect. Especially in diseases of the respiratory and urinary tract, the small red tubers are said to work wonders.
The radish dip is quickly made and prepared
Simply chop the ingredients and mix in a bowl. Your radish dip is ready. Even for unskilled cooks this is a piece of cake.
You can mix the dip and put it in the fridge. So if you have guests, just prepare the radish dip a day in advance. Put a lid or foil on the bowl and you're done.
If the spread can infuse, it tastes even better, by the way. Then the radishes and the chili give the taste to the curd really well.
Our conclusion
As you can see, you don't need to buy spreads. A radish dip with fresh herbs is quickly prepared. Soul food mega delicious, simple and healthy. What more could you ask for? :)
Enjoy it!
PS: The radish dip also goes wonderfully with baked potato!
