We pack a whole lot of herbs into the cucumber soup. This brings a lot of flavor to the soup.

And a little more green color.

Herbs are the best that nature has to offer. They are not only delicious, they are also full of vitamins and minerals.

Why you should prepare cucumber soup cold

Did you know that many vitamins are sensitive to heat? A very good example is vitamin C. As soon as we heat the dish or drink, it disappears almost completely. That is why you should not add lemon to hot tea, but only to lukewarm tea.

And vitamin C is present in large quantities in cucumbers. To be precise, there are 8000 μg per 100 grams. For this reason alone, it is worthwhile to spoon the cucumber soup cold.

But of course there are even more reasons. An iced cucumber soup is mega refreshing and a boon for our bodies on hot days.

So when the head smokes again at work, the soup comes just in time. Everyone has a refrigerator at work. Put the soup cold and then you can start eating immediately. No reheating in the microwave or with pot. Super practical or?

How you can refine the cold cucumber soup

Afraid you won't get full? Then you can fry some shrimps, eat a piece of bread with it or fry chickpeas and sprinkle them into the soup.
