The structure

I tried it alone at first. But believe me: it's easier with two! So grab a friend or another helper and get to work together.

Help is needed at the latest when tensioning the rubber bands to attach the jumping sheet. By the way, this is also the part that takes the longest.

But more on that in a moment.

In the package you will find the instruction manual, the components of the trampoline and the tools you need for jumping fun. So you don't need to have any extra tools at home.

That's a good thing. Our toolbox in the editorial office is virtually empty.

The assembly is very simple thanks to instructions. First, the scaffolding is erected, then the jumping net is stretched and then the support bar is attached.

If it hadn't taken so much time to stretch the cloth, we would have broken our set-up record. But it's done in a total of 30 minutes.

The first impression

My Fitness Trampoline Experience

I can hardly wait. When we saw the Mini trampoline for living room finally screwed together, it can finally start. But what's the best way to do that? With sportswear? Barefoot? With shoes?

If you are serious about working out, you should always wear sportswear. You sweat less in them and besides, leggings are much more comfortable than regular pants.

You don't need shoes on the trampoline. But you can wear them. This is purely a matter of taste. Just make sure that you do not wear slippery socks. That can go in the eye.

Good, then you're ready to go.

I put my hands on the bracket and start bouncing. The trampoline makes a robust impression. What it doesn't do: creak, squeak or other strange noises. That reassures me for the time being.

After a minute of warm up, I want to know.

Now we're going to do some serious hopping. Really high. For this I bring the legs sometimes to the right, sometimes to the left, then I open them. Sometimes high, sometimes low. Sometimes stretched arms, sometimes bent arms.

This is really fun.

But at the same time it's relatively strenuous. My heart rate goes up a little, but then settles at 95 beats per minute. A wonderful range for shedding kilos.

My first workout lasts 20 minutes and flies by.

If you want, you can watch TV or listen to music. Or watch a Youtube video with jumping exercises.

When I get off the trampoline after the workout, I notice that my legs feel a little like rubber. That gives tomorrow itself a slight muscle soreness 😀

What you should watch out for when bouncing

First, familiarize yourself with the trampoline. If you've never stood on a fitness trampoline before, it may feel a little unfamiliar. You may find it difficult to keep your balance. This is normal.

The warm up

Very important: Don't forget the warm up. You can do this directly on the trampoline. Just don't do it too intensively.

Jump slowly warm up.

Give your body time to get used to bouncing before you really start! This is mega important because without warming up, you're going to put a lot of strain on your ankles and muscles.

After about 2 minutes of very light bouncing and bouncing, you can start exercising.

Go to the knees

Stiff as a board on the trampoline? Not a good idea. If you're bouncing, you should always bend your knees a little. That relieves the strain on the knee joints.

At the same time, you should make sure that your upper body is straight. So do not form a hunchback or hollow back.
