We'll show you how healthy ingredients and a little creativity make a cute chick on a green muffin.
Easter cupcakes dough
We combine Easter and chicks with carrots. This not only brings color to the Easter cupcakes, but also makes them super juicy.
Ingredients:
- 5 eggs
- 80 gram Organic honey*
- 150 gram carrots
- 100 grams of grated coconut
- 100 grams wholemeal flour
- 1 TSP Baking powder*
- A little Food coloring* or matcha powder
Preparation:
Peel and grate the carrots and meanwhile preheat the oven to 180°.
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Whisk the egg yolks and honey until foamy - then add the Food coloring* or the matcha powder to the mixture.
Lift the flour and the Baking powder* into the batter. Now add the carrots and coconut.
Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites.
If the dough is not green enough for you, you can still color it now.
Fill the batter into the muffin cups. Now put them in the oven. After 20 minutes you should check with a toothpick if the Easter cupcakes are ready.
Make sure they don't turn brown - you should be able to see the greenery nicely.

Easter cupcakes topping
For the topping we use a healthy and sugar-free cream of yogurt, cottage cheese, honey and Food coloring*.
Ingredients:
- 250 gram curd
- 1-2 tbsp yogurt
- yellow Food coloring*
- Honey according to taste
Stir curd and honey with a spoon until smooth. The topping must not be too liquid, otherwise the chicks will soon evaporate.
Now mix honey and Food coloring* to this. Stir well until a uniform color is achieved.
Delicious: Sweet yeast bunnies
Decorate Easter cupcakes
To decorate your Easter cupcakes, you'll need a piping bag, a carrot, and some cooking chocolate.
Fill the Easter Cupcakes Topping into the piping bag and apply it so that your chick has a body and a head.
Hold the piping bag very close to the muffin and press the topping evenly. Then put down 1x and make the head.
To make your Easter cupcakes into chicks, cut small triangles from a carrot. They form the feet and beak of the chick.
Make the eyes with melted cooking chocolate. You can simply dip a toothpick into the chocolate and carefully draw the eyes.
And there's a fat, yellow chick sitting on top of your green Easter cupcakes.
Have fun making it! :)
