Pokémon Go is everywhere you read and hear about it. So that you still have enough time for the workout, we show you how you can combine Pokémon Go with your belly legs butt workout

Finally, the time has come! Pokémon Go is also launching in Germany and Austria. What is absolutely hyped in the USA can now finally be played here. Partly remote-controlled and a bit like zombies, players can be seen standing at PokéStops. The player moves through a virtual world during Pokémon Go. To find and catch new Pokémon, however, you have to wander around in the real world and go on a quest.

Your smartphone accesses your GPS data during the game. The whole thing is a bit reminiscent of Google Maps with superimposed Pokémon.

In the real world, besides Pokémon, there are arenas and PokéStops. If you want to interact with one of these things, you'll have to get close enough to your target.

Pokemon Go Test Tips
Tested for you: Pokémon Go with Sport

Walking outdoors and in the fresh air makes up the largest part of the game. The developer Niantic Labs has set itself the goal of specifically promoting exercise. This makes it ideal to combine Pokémon Go with your abdominal exercises.

But first, let's quickly get some general info. I have tested the game for you and have a few beginner tips for you.

Radar: Everything near you

The greatest thing about Pokémon Go is that a radar shows you everything that is near you. From Pokémon to PokéStops to arenas. When you're out for a walk, it's especially fun. Suddenly, there's a wild Zubat in front of you. :)

Pokémon Go eggs hatching

For example, you can only hatch Pokémon eggs if you have walked a certain distance. The developers are smart and have even included a speed limit. So if you want to cheat and drive a car, you won't be able to hatch your Pokémon eggs.

Depending on the Pokémon Go egg, you will have to cover a distance of 2 to 10 kilometers.

PokéStops: Equip yourself

At PokéStops you can get many useful things for your game. As soon as a stop is near you, you will see it on the map. Depending on your level, you can get Pokéballs or even remedies for your Pokémon. Once you have used the PokéStop, it takes a few minutes until you can do so again.

The arena: fight, heal and train

Arenas are used to fight for Pokémon. However, the role of the arena depends on whether you initially chose red, yellow or blue. Two arenas are distinguished in the game. In the allied arena you can train and heal your Pokémon. In the enemy arena you can challenge the arena champion. If you win, you will conquer this arena for your team. I'm sure there are arenas near your home! I have one right outside my front door!

Pokémon Go live tips test
With Pokémon Go, you can see live what's happening in your environment

What I find very funny is that the battles take place in real time. If you swipe left or right on your smartphone, you can even dodge attacks. You can read many more tricks and tips on PC Magazin. By the way, you can only enter the arena once you have reached level 5.

Attention: Eyes open when playing

Games where you look at your smartphone and walk through the real world are dangerous. Augmented reality games carry big risks. Watch out near roads and make sure you don't run into one of the players.

Our belly legs butt tips for Pokémon Go:

Explore the area around your apartment! In front of my apartment is a PokéStop and half a kilometer away, I have also discovered an arena. If you want to save time, you can combine this with abdominal exercises.

  1. Fast forward to the arena

Where is the nearest PokéArena? Grab your smartphone and sports clothes. Now run in intervals to the arena. Go full throttle for 15 seconds, then run slowly for 15 seconds. Repeat this until you reach the arena.

  2. Stretching exercises while you wait for the PokéStop

Once you have used the PokéStop, a few minutes will pass before you can use the service again. To make good use of this time, do stretching exercises.

Stretching legs is especially good. Place one leg on a park bench, bike stand, or whatever you can find nearby. Try to reach your legs with your hands as far as possible. Your leg remains extended during the exercise.

You can find many more stretching exercises here.

  3. Squats after you catch a Pokémon

Once you have discovered a Pokémon, you can catch it with a Pokéball. You have to be quick, otherwise it's gone. You need 2 balls before you catch it? For each ball you do 10 squats after your catch.

  4. Off to the park

You can find plant Pokémon mainly in parks. Grab your training shoes and off you go. Instead of driving or biking, simply walk to the nearest park or forest. You can even hatch your PokéE eggs along the way. Every fifth step is a lunge.

  5. Jogging to the next destination

You already know where the next arena or PokéStop is? Very good! But this time you don't take the shortest way, but make a detour. And you do it by jogging. Run to the next destination and watch how long it takes you. If you do this more often, you'll quickly see how your speed increases.

  6. Fight lost? Crunch!

You lost a fight in the arena? You'll get 30x crunch at home in your living room. Sounds tough, but it is. But this way you can motivate yourself to get better at Pokémon Go. :) During the Crunch, you lie on your back, bend your legs and then straighten up.

  7. Off to the water

Are you looking for water Pokémon? Then look where the next lake or the next outdoor pool is. Once you've found and caught a Pokémon, you'll be rewarded with a round of backstroke. This is very good for your thighs. Try to swim as long as possible without a break. If this is too exhausting for you, you can change swimming styles.

Our Tip:

Eyes open when playing! Have fun in the fresh air :)
