Here's the best baked apple tiramisu you've ever tasted. A quick and healthy dessert for fall and winter.

You love homemade baked apples and tiramisu? How about a combo?

A delicious baked apple tiramisu in a jar is quick to prepare and tastes wonderful. In addition, it is visually a little prettier to look at than a normal baked apple.

Around Christmas time, it is not so easy to eat healthy. Here a cookie, there a Stollen, then again gingerbread and the whole of course with a big cup of cocoa with cream.

Just thinking about it makes my stomach grow life rings. This year I want to remain steadfast. Few cookies but other healthy desserts. There comes a light baked apple tiramisu just right.

What makes this baked apple tiramisu different from others

I prepare a light and healthy alternative to the many calorie Baked apple tiramisu Recipes to.

Swap mascarpone for yogurt

Mascarpone, lots of it. Oh how delicious. But have you ever looked at the calories? No thanks! 100 grams of mascarpone contain 480 calories. That's why I prepare my baked apple tiramisu without mascarpone.

Alternatives and their calories per 100 grams

  • Low fat yogurt 35 kcal
  • Low fat curd cheese 73 kcal
  • Greek yogurt 120 kcal
  • Ricotta 215 kcal

Basically, you can use all alternatives for the baked apple tiramisu. With quark, you just have to make sure that it is quite firm and tastes sour. There you can but with a little Birch sugar* or honey to help.

I opted for Greek yogurt. It provides very 6.5 grams of protein per 100 grams, good for the muscles. The 120 calories are well justifiable. In addition, the consistency is creamy.

The baked apple tiramisu tastes especially good when the apple is still a little warm.

Exchange sugar for honey

In a normal tiramisu you will find a large amount of household sugar. But it doesn't have to be. I just use sweet apples and spices for it. And that's it. You don't need a sugar substitute for the baked apple.

With the yogurt it is a matter of taste. If the baked apple tiramisu is not sweet enough, it is best to stir a little Organic honey* under yogurt. It's much healthier than sugar.

If that is still not sweet enough for you, you can also use Erythritol* (0 calories) or Birch sugar* help.

I took sweet apples and simply stirred the baked apple tiramisu well before eating. You don't even need honey.

The best thing about baked apple tiramisu is that you can easily prepare it. Whether you enjoy it on Christmas Day or in between - just put it in the fridge. It will easily stay nice and fresh for up to 2 days. The only problem is that the yogurt starts to dry out. So better cover it well.

If you decide to go with the preparation option, make sure that you use the Cocoa powder* sprinkle over the yogurt just before eating. Otherwise the yogurt will turn brown.

The eye eats with you - baked apple tiramisu decorate

Yes, the eye eats with you. Whether you do a lot of work or not, it always tastes wonderful :)

To the template:

  • For this I cut a star from a post it with a Stanley knife. The star itself you can throw away, they need the frame around it.
  • I didn't fill the yogurt all the way to the top, because that allows you to place the stencil directly on the rim of the jar.
  • Now you give Cocoa powder* into a sieve and carefully sieve it over the stencil.
  • Lift the stencil very carefully from the glass at the end. Done!

Christmas dessert in a glass - baked apple tiramisu

Just as beautiful look a heart or a fir tree.

Or you can simply leave 1 tablespoon of baked apple pieces per dessert and then add the mixture to the yogurt. But nuts also make a good decoration. As you can see, a lot is possible.

Our conclusion

A baked apple tiramisu is quick to make. If you replace calorie bombs like mascarpone and sugar, you can even enjoy this Christmas dessert in a healthy way. And that means for all sports fans: less exercise to burn calories and less Christmas flab in January.

Have fun making them!
