Instruction
Prepare oil extract
Pick fresh marigold flowers and place them in a cleaned, sealable jar.
2 cups marigold flowers
Pour olive oil over the flowers. The petals should be completely covered.
250 ml olive oil
Close the jar and leave it in a dark and cool place for two to eight weeks. Important: Shake the jar gently every now and then.
Strain the marigolds with a cloth or sieve. The marigold oil remains over and is further used.
Mix marigold cream
Put the oil in a large glass jar or glass pitcher. Slowly heat the calendula oil in a water bath.
Add the beeswax, stirring constantly, and wait until the wax has completely dissolved in the oil.
25 g beeswax
Pour the mixture into the cream jars.
Ready is your homemade marigold cream!
