Remember those resolutions you made at the beginning of the year? Now is the perfect time to achieve your goals! We give you tips on how you can achieve your goals this year!

Do you remember: New Year's Eve 23:50 What haven't you resolved to do? What goals did you want to achieve? Time passes very quickly.

It was just terribly cold and the end of December 2016. Already this year is also coming to an end. But now do not panic :) A quarter of the year is still over to achieve goals.

If you ask around and ask people what all they wanted to achieve in 2017, some are dissatisfied. They wanted to achieve goals like stop smoking, lose more weight, be fitter, take a big trip and much more. The good news is that there is still enough left of the year to accomplish it all :)

Achieve goals by the end of the year

It is often a little foggy in the morning. But that shouldn't cloud your view of your goals.

The easiest way to finally achieve your goals? First of all, you have to stop being so hard on yourself. Be happy about the good things you have already achieved. There are certainly some that you did not expect.

This is how you can achieve your goals - this very year:

Step 1: Reflect on achievements

This year didn't go as you expected? Okay. Never mind. Just ask yourself these two questions:

  1. What happened unexpectedly and what did I learn from it?

Have you found a new hobby? Have you met new friends? Did you go out spontaneously and have a lot of fun? Did you manage to start running? You don't have to run a marathon, fly to the moon or quit your job. It's the little things that count :)

  2. Have my goals changed?

Think hard: Do you really want to achieve the same goals you had in January? Maybe you wanted to move, but now you've met a nice guy. Or you wanted to get a promotion - but now you really want a new job.
Life can change so quickly. It's good if you want to achieve other goals now and adjust your plans. Just go with it :)

Step 2: Set goals

With the same power you had in January, you must now set new goals to achieve. It's time for the implementation.

  1. Write down 3 things you want very urgently

Imagine it's New Year's Eve again. You're at a celebration and a friend asks you, "How was 2017?" Now you should be able to say, "Incredible." And mean it. What 3 things would you want to tell her?
Be as specific as possible. "I want to take a trip" doesn't count! Better is: "I want to go on a Mediterranean cruise for 2 weeks in October".

  2. Set goals with exact date

No matter what others say, there's still a lot of time between now and December 31. But without very specific time specifications, it's probably nix with the goals reach.
Want to go on a cruise? Set yourself the next deadlines that will help you achieve your goals. Especially the first steps are the most important. These should be planned very precisely. e.g. Until next Monday: Get offers. Until Friday: Compare offers. Monday: Take vacation and book.

  3. Become active in achieving goals

So, now you know what and when. Now it's time to put your plan into action. You can only achieve goals if you take the first step.

  4. Be flexible in achieving goals

If you want to achieve goals, you have to be flexible. No matter what goals we want to achieve, you always run into obstacles or have new insights. You have to look on the bright side. Your perfect plan for achieving goals simply needs to be adapted.
Maybe October is not the best time to travel to the Mediterranean after all. Then you simply reschedule. Cruises are fortunately available all over the world :)

  5. Let us help you

You can't always achieve your goals alone. Often it helps to get help from the outside. Look for people who want to achieve the same goals as you.
This works especially well if you want to lose weight or increase your fitness. Find someone who wants the same thing as you do. You'll see, reaching your goals is always much easier in pairs.
In fitness, it also helps to connect with people who had the same goal and have already put it into action. Benefit from their experience in achieving goals.

  6. Focus on achieving goals

Our lives are so varied. It's easy to lose focus on your goals. For this point, you need a lot of self-discipline. But, hey? You really want to reach your goal - so there should be no problem :)

  7. Locate things that distract

When you want to achieve goals, you often get distracted by other things. That is quite normal. But you can't let it throw you off track.
When you're focused on your goal, you shouldn't get distracted. Are you on your smartphone a lot? Then put it aside. The cell phone is the biggest time eater. And most of the time you don't even know what you have done.

  8. Keep your goals in mind

This is a very powerful tool that you should use to be able to achieve your goals.
Keep your goal constantly in mind. This increases self-confidence.

  9. Ask yourself these questions

At the end of the month, get back on track with your plan to achieve goals.

These are your questions about reaching goals:

Where do I stand right now?
What did I do this month to achieve my goals?
How do I want to go on to achieve the goals?
What have I done well? And what can I do better?

My conclusion:

Achieving goals can be easy if you really want it. Hang in there and fight your way to your goal. Attention: The feeling of having achieved something you hoped for could make you addicted :)
