You don't always have to compromise. Grab your best friend and treat yourself to a relaxing vacation, which is already simple in preparation. One look - and it's already clear: these will be very quiet days by the sea!
The different definition of "relax
Why you better not compromise on your vacation, you realize on the first day. Of course, you took pity. And yet you took your friend with you. And you already have the Quark!
While you are tanning your backside. And immersed in a schmaltzy love story in the alleys of Paris, your friend is nervously pacing up and down in front of the beach mat. If you ignore that, loud and deep inhales and exhales follow.
"When can we go on?", "Are you just going to lie around here all day?", "This is totally boring.", "Do you want to go bungee jumping?", "Of course you're coming!". - We warned you! This certainly wouldn't have happened with your best friend.
Because we girls don't need action. We can just lie next to each other all day. Reading, a little silence (yes, we can do that too!) and gazing at the waves.
Comfortably end the evening
What's the best way to end a quiet day? Freshly showered and in a breezy maxi dress at the beach bar with a view of the setting evening sun. Sounds like a romantic scenario with your sweetheart? Far from it.
Because while his motto of the evening is "undress - shower - dress - lospoltern", this is a little more extensive with us. It is creamed, anointed, peeled in peace. Dressed. Changed. Sprayed, painted, plucked. Drinking, laughing, chatting.

Girls vacation is always quality time
Sure, you can also spend a great time with your sweetheart. But you can only be really authentic, silly, goofy and crazy with your best friend - because she knows you inside and out for many years!
There you reminisce. Together, you're as crazy as a teenager and as carefree as you were in your mid-20s. You travel back in time together. Therapizing each other. Philosophizing about the future. Amused about the present.
And anyway, we spend far too little time with her. And sure, an evening together during the week is nice. But 10 days together on the beach in Ibiza or in the sun on Corfu are soo much better.
And when we get back home, there is so much to report. And to catch up on! That's sure to make him quickly forget that you chose your best friend over him for a relaxing vacation.
