For the oatmeal bread you need to pour boiling water over the flakes and let them swell.
Meanwhile, stir the yeast in warm milk (or water) until smooth and add the honey. Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, mix the flour and salt with the swollen oat flakes and the yeast milk to form a smooth dough. Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
When the dough for your oatmeal bread is ready, grease the pan and sprinkle it with oatmeal. Put the dough in the loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Brush the top of your dough with water and bake your oatmeal bread for 50 to 60 minutes at 180°.
